Week 2: Monday
Half a week down... shit ton more to go. Uh... sweet.

So every weekend here like the last one? Clubs were pretty cool, music was alright. Though it's not like I'm hardcore about that or anything.

Okay so I've joined both the Baseball Club and the football club. Anyone want to give me the heads up on what's going on with the clubs. I'm gonna guess it's mostly just scrimmaging and shit since ten bucks there aren't any other supernatural teams to play. So what is there like a team A and team B? EIther team need a third basemen or a quarterback?  Well the third basemen is negotiable, I can manage other spots but that's what I played in High School.  Is there any conditioning set up already? Drills set up or is it pretty casual?

And I think I might suck at this Archery class. Why isn't there a darts class, damn.

I think I prefer nunchucks. That's a club I'd join.

If you can manage darts, you can get the hang of archery.

The beginning is always the most difficult when it comes to archery. Fingers blistering yet?

Damn good to know because I have to admit there's a competitive streak in me a mile wide.

Not yet, thankfully got pretty callused hands to begin with. But they are red as hell. Only going to get worse yeah?

Might considering ordering yourself a set of gloves, otherwise you'll be bleeding by the end of the week. Blisters are only the beginning.

Probably a good idea. I've never liked gloves though, can't really feel the equipment. But different sport so probably should shut up and listen to the expert.

I have a pair of my father's I brought by mistake if you'd like to give them a trying run, see how you feel. Archery gloves are quite different than what you're used to and they will most definitely save your fingers a bit of pain.

Really? I mean can't hurt to try if they fit. I'll probably have to take you up on that offer. Thanks.

Ha. Ha. Ha.

Was the teddy bear not enough? There was this one time that I thought I had a little game but someone keeps trying to kill it.

It seems there are quite a few archers at this school. Then again, it is such a common activity among humans, it's only natural. What was I thinking?

Yes, I'm being sarcastic.

I managed somehow to pick up on that thing called sarcasm. I don't have a fucking clue what I'm doing with this bow. But hell, thought I'd try since gym classes have always been my friend.

Oh thank goodness, some people are not able to recognize it. I find that to be rather disturbing actually. Well, you've surprised me in a good way, congratulations.

I took archery at University, it can be rather bothersome, to get used to. Since you're a footballer, the muscles in your shoulders won't likely hurt you, as they would most people starting out. As someone else said, I would be mindful of the blisters though, gloves can be helpful on that front.
